What a beautiful thing this charity
A parting with your hard-earned money
And still the one who profits is you!

Sure someone else may benefit
A mouth or two you helped to feed
But the scales that’s getting heavy is yours!

A sin or more may fall from you
For this good deed you tried to do
And you get to prevent a calamity too!

What you give isn’t yours to begin with
Let’s give from that perspective
And delight in the spiritual high!

Giving from what we are given
Ensures that we are not stricken
With the disease of greed and want

For surely your wealth will now be blessed
May it be a blessing and not a test
May good health be yours too!

#SGMuslims4MigrantWorkers is backkkkk!

Last year, Shirin and I started this campaign wanting to raise $10,000 for needy and destitute Muslim migrant workers in Singapore. We ended that campaign with $70,489!!

This year, we are counting on you again to help us raise $50,000. $25k will go to Nobi Nur, a worker who sustained several injuries while working in Singapore, leaving him and his family financially stranded. The other $25k to set up a Standing Medical Fund to ensure that injured and seriously ill Muslim migrant workers receive the medical treatment they need in time, without having to raise funds from scratch each time.

Please check the campaign out, tag your friends and family, share in any and ALL WhatsApp groups you are in LOL, send this to any media person you know so we can get a wider reachhh inshaAllah! The campaign is zakat eligible so please consider giving your zakat harta/fitrah here: www.launchgood.com/migrantworkers

May Allah bless you most generously!
